The main causes of grimy windows are pollen and dust, bird droppings, fingerprints, and hard water deposits.
Hard water deposits are caused by water that contains a high mineral count. At first, your windows may just appear to be dirty, but, over time, the minerals in these deposits cause them to adhere to the glass. If you let your windows collect all of these deposits and grime, they will become impossible to remove and damage your window. Do not allow your windows to get to this point! Having your windows cleaned regularly will help protect and preserve them for much longer.
